The PEP Scholarship is At Capacity for NEW Students
Per Florida statute 1002.395, scholarship funding organizations (SFOs), like Step Up For Students, must give priority to eligible renewal students who received a scholarship during the previous school year. Then, new scholarships are provided on a first-come, first-served basis unless the student is seeking income prioritization.
The PEP Scholarship is at capacity for NEW students for the 2026–27 school year. This means we are not able to award the PEP Scholarship to any additional new students at this time. New students may still apply, but we cannot guarantee that more scholarships will become available. Any new students who are found eligible and who accept the scholarship will be added to our “At Capacity” list and will be notified if a PEP Scholarship becomes available for their student. Please keep in mind that accepting the scholarship is how an eligible new student is placed on the “At Capacity” list and that additional requirements, including income prioritization, are considered prior to PEP Scholarship funding.
Scholarships are available for RENEWING PEP students. Please continue with your renewal application. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2026.
At this time, the Private School Scholarship and the Unique Abilities Scholarship have available capacity. To learn about other scholarship options, please click here.
